About

I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the German University in Cairo. Even though I have experience with backend development, I enjoy frontend development the most thus spend most of my time as a frontend developer. I am proficient in using React.JS, MaterialUI, Sass, and Redux, and currently learning Next.JS, tailwind css, Chakra UI, framer-motion, and mobile app development using React Native. In terms of backend development, I have experience in Node.JS, MongoDB and have used Flask as well.

Projects

Smart Cloud-edge Video surveillance system

Worked with other GUC colleagues to publish a paper titled Smart Cloud Edge Video Surveillance System in the 11th International Conference on Circuits and Systems Technologies (MOCAST).

HORUS : Smart multi-camera video surveillance system

A cloud-based smart multi camera and multi user video surveillance system that utilizes computer vision and cloud capabilities.

Ejada - Frontend developer

Worked as a frontend developer in the E-Banking team.

Developed the Front-end of an interview system for the company.

VS Code Extension

Developed an VS code extension to help create react component folders quickly to help myself during development.

First portfolio created.

Machine Learning

Used Fisher’s Linear Discriminant classification algorithm, Naïve Bayes classifier, and K-means classifier to classify images into different classes.

Computer vision

Implemented Eye-detection and histogram equalization and optimal thresholding segmentation, and experimented with their application to multiple gray-scale images.

Data Engineering

The main goal of the project was to explore the olympics dataset, Clean it by dealing appropriately with missing values and removing outliers and learn insights from it then come up with research questions to answer.

Created various automatons using Java (DFA, NFA, FDFA, CFG, FFCFG, LL1CFG)

Recreated the front-end of the twitter home page using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Created the front-end of a website from a PSD using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
